About aVidaNovaaVidaNova was set up to help rescue extremely at-risk Brazilian girls from the dire life conditions of abuse, homelessness, sexual exploitation, and abandonment.
aVidaNova operates within the guidelines of the Brazilian government and local juvenile jurisdictions. aVidaNova partners with Brazilian social services, aVidaNova functions on the strong belief that a family setting is the best environment for the total care of rescued, at-risk girls. Vilas (villages) are set up with two or more houses, and each home is staffed by house parents and set up to accommodate 5 to 8 girls in a family-style setting. |
